Citrix Multiple Products Remote Code Execution Vulnerability

Citrix · NetScaler SD-WAN Enterprise, CloudBridge Virtual WAN, and XenMobile Server

Summary

A flaw in Citrix's NetScaler SD-WAN Enterprise, CloudBridge Virtual WAN, and XenMobile Server products allows remote code execution via improper input validation. An attacker with network access and no authentication or user interaction can execute arbitrary shell commands as root by sending a crafted CGISESSID cookie to affected SD-WAN devices (on CloudBridge devices, the cookie name is CAKEPHP instead).

Official description · NVD

Citrix NetScaler SD-WAN devices through v9.1.2.26.561201 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary shell commands as root via a CGISESSID cookie. On CloudBridge (the former name of NetScaler SD-WAN) devices, the cookie name was CAKEPHP rather than CGISESSID.
