NUUO NVRmini Devices OS Command Injection Vulnerability

NUUO · NVRmini Devices

Summary

The NVRmini Devices from NUUO contain an OS command injection flaw in the upgrade_handle.php component, where the uploaddir parameter of a writeuploaddir command fails to neutralise shell metacharacters. An attacker with network access can exploit this without authentication or user interaction, using crafted shell metacharacters in that parameter to execute arbitrary commands on the device.

Official description · NVD

upgrade_handle.php on NUUO NVRmini devices allows Remote Command Execution via shell metacharacters in the uploaddir parameter for a writeuploaddir command.
