Roundcube Webmail Remote Code Execution Vulnerability
Roundcube · Roundcube Webmail
Roundcube Webmail, the open-source webmail client, contains a flaw in its rcube_image.php component (versions before 1.4.4) where shell metacharacters are not neutralised in the im_convert_path or im_identify_path configuration settings. An attacker able to supply or influence those configuration values can inject operating system commands that are executed on the server.
rcube_image.php in Roundcube Webmail before 1.4.4 allows attackers to execute arbitrary code via shell metacharacters in a configuration setting for im_convert_path or im_identify_path.

Why these are linked: Link confidenceHow strong the evidence is that two CVEs are related. High: stated in the CVE text or linked in an advisory, or the same code was patched one release apart. Medium: the same code, or a version step plus a similar description. Low: similar description only.
