Arm Mali GPU Kernel Driver Unspecified Vulnerability

Arm · Mali Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)

Summary

The Arm Mali GPU Kernel Driver contains a memory-safety flaw (classified as an improper restriction of operations within the bounds of a memory buffer) that affects the Mali Graphics Processing Unit across the Midgard, Bifrost and Valhall architectures in the version ranges listed. An attacker with only local, low-privilege access and no user interaction can gain write access to read-only memory pages, which may be used to compromise confidentiality, integrity and availability.

Official description · NVD

Arm Mali GPU Kernel Driver allows a non-privileged user to achieve write access to read-only memory pages. This affects Midgard r26p0 through r31p0, Bifrost r0p0 through r35p0, and Valhall r19p0 through r35p0.
