Qualcomm Multiple Chipsets Use of Out-of-Range Pointer Offset Vulnerability

Qualcomm · Multiple Chipsets

Summary

The flaw is a memory corruption bug in Qualcomm's GPU kernel driver component (KGSL) affecting multiple Qualcomm chipsets, triggered when a large list of sync points is submitted in an AUX command through the IOCTL_KGSL_GPU_AUX_COMMAND interface. An attacker with local access and low-privilege credentials, requiring no user interaction, could exploit the out-of-range pointer offset to compromise confidentiality, integrity and availability of the affected device.

Official description · NVD
