Qualcomm Multiple Chipsets Integer Overflow Vulnerability

Qualcomm · Multiple Chipsets

Summary

The flaw is an integer overflow in the Graphics component of Qualcomm's Multiple Chipsets product line, which causes memory corruption during the assignment of a shared virtual memory region in an IOCTL call under Linux. An attacker who can reach that IOCTL interface needs local access and low-privilege credentials, requires no user interaction, and can exploit it to affect confidentiality, integrity and availability.
