ConnectWise ScreenConnect Path Traversal Vulnerability
ConnectWise · ScreenConnect
The ConnectWise ScreenConnect product, in version 23.9.7 and earlier, contains a path-traversal flaw (classified as improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory) that lets requests reach files outside their intended directory. An attacker with network access who has already obtained high-privilege credentials and can get a user to interact with the application could use it to execute remote code or directly affect confidential data or critical systems.
ConnectWise ScreenConnect 23.9.7 and prior are affected by path-traversal vulnerability, which may allow an attacker the ability to execute remote code or directly impact confidential data or critical systems.
