WhatsUp Gold GetStatisticalMonitorList SQL Injection Authentication Bypass Vulnerability
Progress Software Corporation · WhatsUp Gold
The WhatsUp Gold product from Progress Software Corporation contains an SQL injection flaw in its statistical monitor list handling, affecting versions before 2024.0.0 when the application is configured with only a single user. An unauthenticated attacker with network access to the application can exploit this without user interaction to retrieve the encrypted password of that user.
In WhatsUp Gold versions released before 2024.0.0, if the application is configured with only a single user, a SQL Injection vulnerability allows an unauthenticated attacker to retrieve the users encrypted password.
