SonicWall SMA1000 Missing Authorization Vulnerability
SonicWall · SMA1000 appliance
The flaw is a missing authorization issue in the appliance management console (AMC) of the SonicWall SMA1000 appliance, which allows a local privilege escalation. An attacker who already has high-privilege authenticated access to the management console can exploit it without any user interaction, gaining elevated rights on the appliance.
A local privilege escalation vulnerability due to insufficient authorization in the SonicWall SMA1000 appliance management console (AMC).

Exploitation timelineDated milestones for a CVE: when it was disclosed, when exploit code became public, when exploitation was confirmed, and when threat reports named it.
First seen exploited 1 day before it was disclosed. Public exploit code (PoC-in-GitHub) was available the same day.
CISA KEV listing is when exploitation was confirmed, not necessarily the first attack.
