Synacor Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) PHP Remote File Inclusion Vulnerability

Synacor · Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS)

Summary

A Local File Inclusion flaw in the Webmail Classic UI of Synacor's Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) 10.0 and 10.1 stems from improper handling of user-supplied request parameters in the RestFilter servlet. An unauthenticated remote attacker who can reach the /h/rest endpoint can craft requests that cause arbitrary files from the WebRoot directory to be included, and exploitation requires user interaction.
