IBM · Guardium Data Protection
IBM Guardium Data Protection (versions 12.0, 12.1 and 12.2) contains a heap-based out-of-bounds read in the parser that handles TDS7 LOGIN7 packets. An attacker with network access to the affected component can send a specially crafted LOGIN7 packet with invalid offset or length values, requiring no authentication or user interaction, to cause information disclosure or denial of service.
