Sangoma Switchvox SQL Injection Vulnerability

Sangoma · Switchvox

Summary

Sangoma Switchvox SMB Edition 8.3 contains an SQL injection flaw in the /pa endpoint, which processes XML content starting with <PolycomIPPhone> and concatenates the user-controlled PhoneIP value directly into PostgreSQL queries without sanitization or parameterization. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this with a single crafted request, requiring no user interaction or configuration changes, to execute arbitrary SQL statements against the backend database, including database operations and remote code execution.
